Our little town is located just south of Franconia Notch State Park and on the western entrance of
"The Kancamagus scenic byway" ( N.H.Route 112).

The Kancamagus Highway :

This is one of the most fascinating scenic routes through the White Mountains. The locals refer to it as "The Kanc". This route runs east to west and climbs about 3,000 feet above sea level. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled, you just might see a moose.

Flume Gorge:

Located in Franconia Notch State Park "The Flume Gorge" offers a 2-mile self guided walking tour thru nature. Walk through covered bridges,and past waterfalls. Stare in aw at a scenic pool and spectular mountain views. Kids can even explore a wolf's den and bear cave. Don't forget to also visit their information center, cafeteria,gift shop and inactive exibits.

Clark's Trading Post:

So much fun all in one place. Enjoy a live bear show or take an excursion on the "White Mountain Central Railroad" into wolfman territory. Browse Museums and visit their many unique shops. Clark's Trading Post is considered by visitors a "White Mountain Classic".

Story Land:

2010 marks the 57th anniversary of Story Land providing families with young children a life time of memories from a visit to the beautiful white mountains. A great value for a family on a budget with variety of rides, shows and attractions.

Whales Tail Water Park:

At the Whale's Tail water park guests of all ages can enjoy and play in the only wave pool located in the white mountains. Ride the big waves or relax in the gentle ones in the shallow end. Hobo Railroad:

The Rocks Estate:

This 1,400 acres of protected natural reserve is located in Bethlehem, NH. With more than 13 Historic Building that serves as "The North Country Conservation and Education Center for the non-profit organization,-The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. This estate was once self sustaining farm and is now home the areas best Christmas Tree Farm. Visitors to "The Rocks Estate" can ramble along scenic trails, seeking wildlife such as a moose, coyote or even a bear. Enjoy a picnic in the terraced gardens with butterflies and hummingbirds.
